Among all the crew members aboard the ship, Logan Donovaz stands out as one of the most fascinating and tragic figures. In Known Strangers, Logan is the eventual victim, but his story is far from straightforward.
After spending seven long years imprisoned, Logan has finally been ordered to report back to Planet Onyx the headquarters of the sprawling crime syndicate he once called home. This journey is meant to mark his return, a chance to reclaim his throne within the organization. But beneath that surface lies something much more complicated.
Logan believes that prison changed him. He tells himself he’s a different man now, that he’s let go of the life he once led the violence, the betrayals, the weight of the past. But as he makes his way back, there’s a haunting realization that begins to creep in: his past hasn’t let go of him.
What makes Logan so interesting isn’t just who he is now, but who he used to be and how that old self still echoes through the people around him. Every crewmate has their own history with Logan, and every conversation the player has in the prologue pulls back another layer of his past. Some remember him with respect. Others, with resentment. And some, with quiet fear.
In the shadows of this reunion lies a sense of unease a feeling that something, or someone, hasn’t forgotten what Logan did before he disappeared. His attempt at redemption may already be too late, as the ghosts of his old life begin to stir once more.
